The famous "Alabang Boys." Whoever thought of the name should be commended. Kasi even my seven year old son knows that everytime na makita ang pictures nila sa TV, my son will say, "mommy ang alabang boys..." Well thanks to media, and they were instant celebrities. From the name itself, even without looking at their pictures, you would first think that they must be good looking and came from a rich family..
But let's not all be decieved by the the word "Alabang boys." Let's not all be decieved by what the news is telling us. We wouldn't know whose telling the truth or not. The bottom line here is that, these are young adults who were caught with illegal drugs. And yet, they're acting as if nothing happened. Bakit parang ang mga magulang ng mga batang ito ay parang proud pa sa media about what their children did? This is so alarming talaga especially for us who have young kids. It's as if the media is telling us that it's ok for young adults to go into drugs. That's what they're implying in their news. Sana naman they should refrain from interviewing the parents of these "Alabang Boys."
